We have 3 locations our teams play on a match day so please check where the game is with your teams coach.
Beechfarm Playing Fields/Moorside Rangers Astro
5v5, 9v9 and 11v11 Junior games are played at our main site. The post code for your Sat Nav is M27 9LS. If you enter via Victoria Lane then there is parking available near our clubhouse.
Moorside High School
7v7 games are played at Moorside High School on the Astro pitch.
On a Saturday, you can’t access the main entrance of the school, so don’t use the address on google. If you use M27 0LW it will take you to the correct entrance and access from the East Lancs road
Agecroft
Our open age teams play at Agecroft. Use the post code M27 8SW.

Beechfarm Playing Fields

Moorside High School

If you are visiting Beechfarm or Agecroft on a Saturday then yes. Both clubhouses will be open serving hot and cold drinks and snack. Cash and card are accepted.
Unfortunately there are no facilities at Moorside High school and therefore there will be nothing available.
On a Sunday at Beechfarm we try our best to open the Clubhouse, but it depends on the number of games so bets ask your coach to check with the Moorside Rangers coach in advance.
For existing parents:
-
Subs for Moorside Rangers are £25 per month. This covers everything from kits, to training facilities, league fees so this is all you will pay.
We offer discount for parents who have more than one child playing for the club, so the second child is only £10 and any other children are £5.
Subs are collected individually by each team and then submitted so speak to your coach about how to pay this.
-
A brand new kit is provided by the club every 2 years, so we recommend ordering a size that will last.
These kits are ordered as you approach an odd age group so U7, U9, U11 etc. If you are due a new kit then speak to your coach.
If you need replacement kit before this then email info@moorsiderangers.com as we do have a selection of spares in the clubhouse.
Non playing kit such as training tops, coats etc can be ordered via our club shop which can be found here
-
We all bear a collective responsibility to set a good example and help provide a positive environment in which children can learn and enjoy the game. Play your part and observe The FA’s Respect Code of Conduct for spectators at all times.
I WILL:
• Remember that children play for FUN
• Applaud effort and good play as well as success
• Respect the Referee’s decisions even when you don’t agree with them
• Appreciate good play from whatever team it comes from
• Remain behind the touchline and within the Designated Spectators’ Area
• Let the coach do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what to do
• Encourage the players to respect the opposition, referee and match officials
• Support positively and offer players encouragement not criticism
• Never engage in, or tolerate offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour

We have a limited number of spaces, so the first thing is check if there is availability by registering your interest here
If your child has been offered a place on a team then you need to complete the club registration form. If your child has not played for a team before, or if their previous club hasn’t updated their photo for a while we may also need a new photo from you. This needs to be sent to your child’s coach, and needs to be similar to a passport photo, against a white background. It can be taken on a phone.
-
The club operates a waiting list so if there are no spaces at the time we will keep your details on record and if a space becomes available then we will contact you by email.
If you do not wish for your details to be stored then please let us know at info@moorsiderangers.com
For coaches:
-
Have a look at our full guide to player registration here
-
The full process for registering a new coach can be found here
Please note that until all steps have been completed and the new coach is visible on your match card, they are not permitted to take part in any training or matchday activities other than being a parent/spectator
-
The squad list is important on a match day to show the opposition and the referee that you are not playing an ineligible player.
Full instructions on how to get your squad list can be found here
-
Your monthly subs need to be submitted to the club by the 28th of each month.
Collect the money in from the parents, take out any deductions such as course fees, referees etc.
The remaining balance needs to then be transferred to the club with the following details:
Sort code: 309101
Account number: 00788801
Reference: Your team age and colour
Once you’ve done this you need to provide a breakdown of how much you’ve sent. You can do this using this form which automatically sends Ged an email once you’ve completed and submitted
-
We have a supply of kit and equipment in the clubhouse so please don’t purchase your own. If you need anything that we don’t have, then we can order from our suppliers.
Please email info@moorsiderangers.com and we’ll arrange a time and date for you to collect

The league will issue their own handbook, however:
Confirm the game – A week before the fixture, the home team manager should message the away team manager to confirm that the game can go ahead. It needs to be a week or so before as if it can’t and needs postponing or changing the league need 7 days notice. (message your division secretary with any changes). All the games are visible on either the fa fulltime website or you can download the fa matchday app.
Confirm the referee – Roughly the Tuesday before a referee will be appointed to the game, you’ll be sent an email to confirm who the ref is and their details. Home team manager messages the ref to confirm the game is on and answer any questions about directions etc
Matchday – You turn up, play the game and then pay the ref. For SDFL and BBDFL each team pays half, for Timperley the home team pays the full amount. This can be claimed back from subs.
Fulltime – After the game reply to the fulltime text message with the score, and complete the details of the match, on fulltime either through the website or the matchday app.
